Just a little..... BORED!

So I am just a little bored.  My wonderful hubby got me the cutest little puppy. His name is Harley and he is a pitbull. Hopefully you are not thinking oh what a vicious breed. It really is all how they are raised. So far he is a good little pup with a few accidents in the house here and there. He listens and sleeps most the night and walks on the leash great for a 3 month old pup. I was little surprised Kevin let me get him, because he is not a dog lover. He has been doing very good with Harley. He takes him for walks, feeds, pets, and plays with him. I was a little shocked at first, but now I am just so happy that he likes Harley!

I have been missing my friends and family a lot lately. I have been thinking a lot about all the fun ( and not so fun times) in Hawaii. I have been wanting to go back so bad. I miss the weather and the smells. Like the salt water and blooming plumeria. I miss the friends that are still there and the ones that have moved on to other places. They really were our family out there and hope that all of you guys are doing well. You are in our prayers everyday! I miss the game nights and Wiggins' crazy ass stories and even the beer pong tournaments.

Hello.....Again!

Well Hello again! I don't even remember the last time that I blogged!! That is so sad. Well I back, and hoping that I can keep up this year. I decided to get a job because I was bored of sitting at home. So I went back to work at Lowe's part time. The people there are pretty nice, it just sucks that I have to be a cashier again, but whatev it something to do right?!

With all the cold weather lately I have been missing Hawaii so much. The warm
weather, the sandy beaches, the warm crystal blue water, and most of all the wonderful friends that are still there enjoying it all. I think that I bring up moving back to Hawaii every couple of days to the hubby! He does not like this idea. I think that the crappy Olympia took away the greatness of Hawaii for him. Hopefully we can go back and visit.... One day.

We do have some snow on the ground here in Saratoga, but it hasn't been snowing as much as I thought that it would. It is colder than I thought it would get. The coldest that I have seen it so far is -6. BRRRRR!! There is really nothing that can warm you up when you come in from that. They salt the roads here a
lot so I haven't had any ice on the road issues yet. Thank God!!!

I recently traded in my Dodge Stratus for an '07 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is pretty sweet. I just wanted a 4x4 just in case I was to get stuck, plus my heater was starting to go out.

Well I hope you had fun reading my blog, I really enjoyed writing it!! See you around the blog!!

It has been 2 months since we moved to Saratoga Springs, and we are just lovin it! Yeah, we miss all of our friends back in Hawaii but we will see most of y'all again. We are currently looking for a house to buy in Saratoga. We haven't looked yet but we start on Thursday. I think we are looking at 2 or three homes in the Geyser Crest area. I am still jobless. I have applied at a couple of places though, at a pet store and at lowe's. I figure I would get the best paycheck from lowe's. We'll see. We also went to Philadelphia with my sister and her husband last weekend. It was so much fun!! We got to see the Liberty Bell , we went on a carriage ride through historic philly, we also checked out the aquarium across the river from philly in Camden NJ. It was a great time and I can't wait to go back. There was a ton of traffic though, kinda like Hawaii. I will post pictures later =)

Saratoga

We have been in Saratoga Springs now for a week now. So far we love it. There is a lot of small town charm, and not a lot of traffic. We finally found a place to rent out here until we can find a house to buy. It is a 2 bedroom apartment with a good amount of space and storage. It also has a awesome view of saratoga lake. We can't wait. The only thing is that we can't move in until May 1st. Since we can't afford to live in a hotel for two more weeks we are moving in with friends that we knew from Hawaii. They are pretty cool people. Hopefully it is not as uncomfortable as I think it is going to be. We'll see. So the next step is for me to dind a job and then buy a house. I am hoping that I can find something that will allow me to continue to work with kids, and not work on weekends or late at night, and of course pay well. I have little bit of time before I have to get a job because I am still getting unemployment. I think I am going to try going to sleep now. Good Night!

It's been a while...

Sorry, that it has been sooo long. Life has been pretty busy lately. We finally moved from Hawaii on March 9. It felt like we were trapped there. We were originally were suppose to leave the Island in March 2. The boat was doing some testing and needed Kevin to stay until that was done. So we ended up staying in hotels for the last few weeks. We had a couple of going away parties that were super fun. The first one we had was a at a friends house and a lot of people came in to say their good buys. The boys floated a newcastle keg and got wasted. They had a lot of fun. The second was a going a way dinner at the Yard House in Waikiki. About twenty people showed up and wished us and Gardo well. Like I said we finally left Hawaii on March 9!!! The last people that we saw was our dearest friends Johnny and Josetta Marmelo. I lost it when we had to leave their house. It was sinking in that we were never coming back to Hawaii. This was not a vacation. We are moving to a whole other state. We got to California on March 10. We spent a week or so with my parents in Orangevale. We saw some friends and had a couple of parties. By the end of our stay in Orangevale I had a pretty big disagreement with one of my very best friends(whom I haven't talked to since). We bought a huge new truck for Kevin. He j is a just LOVES it. It is a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Mega cab. It is red and freakin huge!!!For the last week and some days we have been in Orland with Kevin's family. We hadn't seen them in over a year, so it has turned out to be a pretty nice visit. We are leaving California on Thursday April 2nd to drive to Saratoga Springs. Well I think that I am a little tuckered out for now. I will blog more later!

So tired of shift work... If it could even be called that

I am so ready for shift work to be over! I guess I shouldn't even call it shift work because that is not what it is. Instead of working from 6am to 4 pm Kevin has been working from 6am until 8pm. Sometimes even later. Most of the time we have spent together in the last couple of weeks has been sleeping. I am lucky that he gets to come home and sleep and that he is not on a freakin deployment, but I think that it just makes things harder just knowing that he is just a couple miles away. I just miss spending that quality time with my hubby. He is always so tired. This section of shift work is suppose to be over with on Wenesday. So if everything goes according to plan than he will have a three day weekend! WOOOOO HOOOOO! We'll see if that is actually going to happen. Only 34 more days left and no more Olympia.

So Bored!

So it has been about a month since I worked last. This is the longest that I have been with out work since I was 15 years old. Crazy man! I never thought that I could be so bored. You can only clean so much until you are done cleaning. Same thing with homework. I am pretty much done with my homework for the next two weeks. Well I guess if it warms up I can hit the pool around the corner. Well if you have any suggestions please let me know. I really miss work and all the kids.
